About a year ago, Emily Button addressed us about Maryland's new Tenant's Bill of Rights. Now she'll help us understand how this important landlord-tenant law has evolved. Here's a link to the official webpage on the law for you to review ahead of time.

About your presenter. Emily Button has worked in housing, community building, and ending homelessness in the Washington Metro area since 2005.  She has served with DHCD since 2019, and has recently transitioned to serving as the Partnerships and Outreach Manager in the newly created Office of Tenant and Landlord Affairs. She is an AmeriCorps Alum and has managed national service and community volunteer programs.

This meeting is a must for all current and future landlords. Come prepared with questions for Emily.
