How can you save money and minimize legal risk when it comes to evictions?  By knowing how to do it right.

Brian Wojcik and Revee Walters, your presenters at the next Strategies Landlording Meeting, will help you protect yourself against “professional tenants” who want to use the eviction process against you.  These local experts will cover:

  • What the eviction process entails, step by step.

  • The types of eviction actions: non-payment of rent, tenant holding over, and breach of lease.

  • What a money judgement is — and what it is not.

  • What can stop or delay an eviction, costing you time and money.

  • Common landlord mistakes and misnomers.

About Brian Wojcik.  Brian founded Landlord411.org to bring a collective voice to private, individual, and small-business rental housing providers.  He currently serves as President-Elect for the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).  He has been published nationally about legislative matters, landlord advocacy, and affording housing issues.  He holds a Masters in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.

About Revee Walters.  Revee is an attorney with the mid-Atlantic regional law firm of Offit Kurman.  She is an expert on Fair Housing law and a licensed real estate broker.  This year she was selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer Rising Star, a designation earned by only 2% of attorneys in the state.  She obtained her doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law.

About you.  If you’re a landlord now… if you plan to become one… don’t miss this meeting.  The more you know about the eviction process, the more likely you are to prevail when you need to use it.
